I’ve always loved the thought of having a job where you can design products. I’ve often thought that being creative and at the same time creating something tangible would be extremely rewarding. It’s kind of like tinkering in the garage but doing it as a job. I guess the hardest part is having the eureka moment where you come up with the product concept. I guess after that trying to make the vision come to life and working on the product design would be very exciting. I think that seeing your idea grow into something that actually works would be great.
One of the most high profile product designers is James Dyson. The Dyson vacuum cleaner is very efficient. Dyson managed to harness the power of centrifugal force to create the first mainstream bagless cleaner. Recently he has added a fast hand dryer to his portfolio of products. Such is his success that he is reported to have a £1 billion fortune.
Energy Producing Car
One of my first creations would be a car that produces energy. There must be a way to make more of the energy that a car uses to move forward. Surely the wheels could be attached to some kind of generator and turned into power. It must be possible!
